Privacy policy
This policy explains what information the site collects, what it is used for, who it is shared with, and what rights you have over it.
1. General
The site weblift.co.il (the "Site") is operated by WebLift ("we", "us"). This policy applies to all use of the Site and to all personal information collected through it.
WebLift is the owner and controller of that information for the purposes of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations under it.
Using the Site constitutes acceptance of this policy. If you do not accept it, please do not use the Site and do not submit your details through it.
2. What information is collected
The Site collects two kinds of information, and no others:
- Information you provide yourself — through the contact form only: name, phone number, email address and a free-text description of your enquiry. Those are all of the form's fields; it has no others.
- Technical information generated by the act of browsing — IP address, browser and operating system, time of the request and the page viewed. This is recorded in the hosting provider's server logs.
The Site does not collect identity numbers, payment details, medical information, biometric information or any other sensitive information, and it has no accounts, registration or login.
3. Providing your details is voluntary
You are under no legal obligation to provide your details; you do so voluntarily and with your consent.
That said, without a name and a way to reach you we cannot answer your enquiry. Providing details that are incorrect, or that are not yours, may prevent us from getting back to you.
4. What the information is used for
Information submitted through the form is used for these purposes only:
- Getting back to you and answering your enquiry.
- Preparing a proposal, an initial outline or a call, at your request.
- Managing the business relationship with anyone who becomes a client, including a record of the enquiry.
- Operating and securing the Site and preventing its misuse.
- Meeting obligations under the law, including record-keeping and document-retention duties.
The information will not be used for any other purpose without your consent. We do not sell, rent or trade in it.
The Site has no mailing list and sends no marketing email. You will not receive advertising from us unless you expressly ask for it.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Site makes narrow, specific use of cookies and of the browser's local storage:
- The WEBLIFT_LOCALE cookie — stores the interface language you chose so you do not have to choose it again on every visit. It is a functional cookie and is necessary to operate a multilingual site.
- Local storage — records when you last saw the intro screen and the accessibility preferences you selected: text size, high contrast, highlighted links, stopped animations and a readable font. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The Site has no analytics tools, no advertising pixels, no ad networks and no tracking cookies of any kind.
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so resets your language choice and your accessibility preferences.
6. Providers that process information for us
We rely on infrastructure providers that process information for us and on our instructions only:
- Supabase — stores contact-form enquiries in a database.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the Site, including server logs.
- Zoho — delivers the email that notifies us of a new enquiry.
Personal information will not be passed to anyone else without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law or court order, or in order to defend our rights in legal proceedings.
7. Transfer of information outside Israel
The servers of the providers listed above may be located outside Israel.
By using the Site and submitting your details you agree that the information may be transferred, stored and processed outside Israel, on the basis that those providers are bound to us to protect it and to process it on our behalf only.
8. Information security
We take reasonable measures to secure the information: the Site is served over HTTPS; access to the information is restricted to authorised people; the database is configured so that the Site itself can only add a new enquiry and cannot read, change or delete existing ones; and system secrets are held in environment variables rather than in source code.
We cannot, however, guarantee absolute immunity from intrusion, loss or misuse, and this policy is not an undertaking to that effect.
9. How long information is kept
An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is kept for the reasonable period needed to handle and follow up on it, and is then deleted.
An enquiry that leads to a business engagement is kept for the term of that engagement and afterwards, to the extent needed for record-keeping, accounting and legal obligations.
You may ask for earlier deletion, subject to retention duties imposed by law.
10. Your rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law you have the following rights in relation to the information you provided:
- To review the information we hold about you.
- To ask that information which is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date be corrected.
- To ask that the information be deleted.
- To withdraw consent you gave, without affecting lawful use made of it beforehand.
Requests of this kind should be sent to the email address at the end of this document. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may verify the identity of the person making the request before disclosing information.
11. Minors
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has submitted details to us, please tell us and the information will be deleted.
12. Links to external sites
The Site contains links to third-party sites and services, including WhatsApp and the client sites shown in the portfolio.
This privacy policy does not apply to them. Using them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The binding version is the one published on this page, and the date of the last update appears at the foot of it.
A material change will be announced on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
14. Governing version
This document is presented in several languages for readers' convenience. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between versions, the Hebrew version governs.
